Download: Pitton Community Store Newsletter November (110 KB)“Celebrating Age Wiltshire is a county-wide project delivering culture and heritage events and activities in community settings to support the wellbeing of vulnerable older people.”
Participants include those who are socially isolated or vulnerable due to dementia, reduced mobility, ill health or caring responsibilities, and those who are particularly impacted because of Covid-19.
Celebrating Age is currently working across 10 local areas in Wiltshire: Corsham, Royal Wootton Bassett, Calne, Trowbridge, Amesbury and Salisbury, Warminster, Chippenham, Melksham and South West Wiltshire.
In each area, Celebrating Age works with arts and community organisations to deliver accessible, high-quality arts and heritage activities, such as:

From Monday 5 December, the MOD section of Winterslow Road that crosses Porton Down Ranges will be closed to all traffic from the junction of the A30 to Blackbarn Road between the hours 10:00 to 15:00.
The road will be closed Monday to Friday (inclusive), until (and including) Wednesday 14 December. It will not be closed at weekends.
