There are several walks from Firsdown and the surrounding area. A map and description are available.
It should be noted that some of these are permissive paths and not public rights of way. The permissive path through the woods is over uneven ground with low crossing branches and tree roots under foot. Care should be taken when using during wet weather when the route will be slippery.
A new permissive bridleway between Pitton and Firsdown opened during May 2025. The path runs along the boundary of the Roundbarrow Farm nature reserve and offers stunning views of the surrounding area. A map is available here.
