CTSW is an established Salisbury charity that focuses on providing door-to-door transport for people who would otherwise find it difficult to get out and about.
A huge factor in reducing the quality of life for elderly and disabled people is not being able to get around. Many cannot afford taxis or reach buses and have no other means of transport available.
CTSW provides a lifeline and helps relieve the loneliness and isolation of those unable to get out and about from their homes. CTSW makes it possible for them to do the things that most of us take for granted, trips to the shops, an appointment at the hairdressers, the doctors or simply visiting family and friends.
Without CTSW, many people would be confined to their homes. The majority of people we help are elderly, frail, or disabled, we always endeavor to help anyone in genuine need.
CTSW operates a variety of scheduled ‘Shopper Bus’ routes, within Salisbury and surrounding rural areas, no route is the same each day. Most routes are weekly.
All our services are personalised, we collect you from your home, help you on the bus and make sure you are secure in your seat.
For more information refer to the attached leaflet or contact details are listed below
If you are interested in using our Shopper
Buses or any other service we provide,
pick up the phone and speak to one of our friendly staff who will be pleased to discuss your needs.

Walking in Wiltshire www.walkinginengland.co.uk/wiltshire is the website for you!
With hundreds of walks to download and print, free, it also has books of walks, contact details for all the walking groups in the county, and much more. Whether you want to walk on your own or with a group all the information is there in one place.
John Harris said ‘There is so much walking information on the web but it is difficult to find. Walking in Wiltshire (part of the Walking in England suite of websites (www.walkinginengland.co.uk) – one for each county in England) has brought it together in one place so whether you are walking from home, or away on holiday, you will be able to find a walk suitable for you’.
With walks from half a mile to twelve miles plus long, and a note of suitability for pushchairs and wheelchairs, everyone can find a walk to enjoy.
So home or away, check out the websites and get walking!

Three dedicated Education, Employment Advisers will be getting alongside our young people to help them access opportunities to help them towards successful working lives. These young people may face multiple barriers preventing them from participating in EET and need a different type of support. For some young people support is provided by other Local Authority Teams, specifically the SEND service for young people with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) and those working with the Youth Offending Team (YOT).
Supporting documentation can be downloaded from this post
Young Work Wiltshire can provide one-to-one support for young people who need help to find the right opportunity for them. This currently provided over the phone and online, but eventually we hope to do some face to face/outreach support.
This support includes:
· Engaging a young person in understanding the provision available
· Finding and applying for a suitable education or training course
· Finding and applying for an apprenticeship
· Support in transitioning to the new opportunity
· Tracking & reducing the young people without a known post 16 destination.
For more information or to refer to the service you can contact us by:
Phone: 01225 716890
Young people can register by completing an online form on the website – https://workwiltshire.co.uk/
There is a new section on our Employment & Skills website Work Wiltshire Website dedicated for our NEET young people – Young Work Wiltshire https://workwiltshire.co.uk/
Special features include:
1. A vacancy service with fortnightly apprenticeships and job opportunities listings aimed at young people
2. The option for young people and those in support of them to sign up for a monthly e-newsletter aimed at inspiring them around local opportunities (attached is our first addition)
3. An opportunity service with ability for employers or providers to post up their jobs/apprenticeships/
4. The ability for young people to update us on what they are doing to support our statutory responsibilities in knowing what every 16/17 year olds education and employment activity is
5. The ability for young people to register for support directly

Despite the recent relaxation of the Lockdown Recommendations, including the opening of community and village halls, the Parish Council is still unable to hold public meetings whilst the Government’s restrictions on social distancing and meeting of groups of people indoors remain in place.
As a result, the meeting due to be held on Wednesday, July 1st will now not take place.
The Parish Council is investigating the various virtual conference platforms that are available, to enable a virtual meeting to take place at some point during July.
In the meantime, the Parish Council continues to operate with all functions being carried out remotely and via social distancing.
Please continue to use the Contact Us page on the website to inform the Parish Council of any issues or to seek our advice.
We will update the website and noticeboards with further information when it becomes available, so do please keep checking back regularly.
