Pitton Road closed until 18th April

The road to Pitton from the Dunstable crossroads is closed until 18th April for Wiltshire Council to undertake maintenance works. The work includes High Street in the centre of Pitton – outside the Post Office.

Mobile Library in Firsdown

For those residents who are unable to get to the public library in Salisbury, you maybe interested in using the mobile library service that visits Firsdown monthly for approximately 30 minutes on each visit. More details are available in the leaflet.

Theft of tools from vans on the increase in Wiltshire

Wiltshire police have advised that the theft of tools and equipment from vehicles, particularly vans used by trades people has increased recently throughout Wiltshire. Thieves are drilling around lock mechanisms or are peeling back doors and body panels. Van owners are being asked to take extra precautions against theft. Advice is available here.
