Since the drainage works on the byway in 2024, the Parish Council has been working to improve the habitat of the byway. Details and photographs of the wildflowers are here.
If you are interested in supporting the Parish Council’s work, particularly with respect to the environment, we do have vacancies, and you would be very welcome to come and join us – contact any of the councillors or the Clerk for further information.
The A30 is closed overnight from 1900-0600 for 14 nights starting on 27th July from the A30 traffic lights to Lopcombe Corner. This is for re-surfacing, the closure does not include weekends. Signed diversions will be in place.
