Firs Road closure for patching works – starts Thursday 12th

A reminder that Firs Rd will be closed as a through route during daylight hours for 4 days starting Thursday 12th.

• No parking in Firs Road during daylight hours
• No access to either A30 or Winterslow at certain times
• The Parish Council expects most of the work will be north of 100 Firs Rd to the A30, and at the Firs Close end of the village.
• Vehicle access to properties on Firs Rd will be restricted at certain times – consider parking your vehicle outside of the work zone.
• Vehicle access to cul de sacs may also be restricted if work takes place at the junctions.
• Bus services are likely to be disrupted or diverted between 0900 and 1600.
• Pedestrian access will not be affected.
• Further work is expected during 2027.

Residents in Firs Road should have received a letter from Wiltshire Council with more details.
